Color imaging should only be attempted if the images you have produce a good mono image.  Currently I am putting color processing aside until I have some good mono processing methods.

The color process will depend upon how your color images are stored.  The possibilities are:  RAW CYMG, LRGB, or RGB.  Different processes will be required for each file type.  But the processes are very similar.
