Drizzle Processing

Drizzle Post Processing is the more typical method of producing final results.  This is done in a similar method to drizzle on the fly, except that you are supposed to pay attention this time and not mess up.

One of the biggest problems with drizzle is the tracking of the object of interest.  With sloppy alignment, the corkscrew path of an object confuses the Meade drizzle.  As long as the object travels in one direction, it is aok, but as soon as it changes direction, the software looses tracking.  This limits the number of images that can be drizzled in a batch to between 15 to 30 images.  This is not acceptable.  Process 2 addresses this specific problem.

Be sure to pick a second object as far away from the object of interest, so that rotation can be effectively calculated.  In any event, if you accidentally choose a bad spot, cancel the drizzle and start over.
