M35 and M37: The raw images for M35 did not come out. The second observation for M37 has some images that are useful. However, at the time of imaging, nothing of interest come up. Mainly the big problem was the dew. Issues with focus and alignment still caused many delays in imaging. The M37 2nd observation should be post processed using the new tools and processing techniques. I didn't seem to have much success and was wondering if the technology just wasn't there and maybe I needed a 12" telescope to use a DSI (model VI mono 3000 x 3000 pixel future version). Did I just buy another bottle of snake oil? |
